Speakers:

Councilmember Sarah Parady: Sarah is a trusted advocate for economic justice and workers’ rights. Her drive to serve on Denver City Council came from her belief that when we invest in each other, we all win. Sarah began her career at Colorado Legal Services, fighting to protect older Coloradoans, young families, and other vulnerable homeowners from foreclosure. She then cofounded a small public interest law firm focused on representing Denver workers.

She will be speaking on using a public health response to drug misuse, public safety issues in Denver, and more!

Karen Gerwitz - President & CEO, World Trade Center Denver: Karen will be speaking about the new Fox Park development where the World Trade Center will be moving to. The visionary Fox Park masterplan establishes an enduring framework for a vibrant community. Built around shared district infrastructure, integrated open space, and a central cultural hub, Fox Park is the next great urban transformation. Fox Park is a 41-acre living, breathing, urban landscape providing a diversity of experiences that fully immerse the cityscape with nature. 14 acres of interconnected parks and open space integrate culture, community, and innovation to create unparalleled opportunities for growth.

Brad Evans: Brad will join us to dive us an update on the Washinton Street Corridor project. The project includes redesigning Washington Street to support the community’s vision for a mixed-use riverfront destination that capitalizes on its proximity to the South Platte River and National Western Center. The preferred alternative for Washington Street from 38th Avenue north to 52nd Avenue includes vehicle travel lanes, possible landscape amenity zones, bike and pedestrian facilities, on-street parking and green infrastructure. The Washington Street improvements Final Design and Construction effort will address design and construction from 47th Avenue to 52nd Avenue.

Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to strengthen your business connections and stay up-to-date with the latest info! Breakfast and refreshments will be provided. In fact, DeNoBA member Butcher Block will be providing their delicious cinnamon rolls!
